IMPORTANT: CityPlace Dentistry In-Office Care Enhancements
The last couple of months have been a challenge for everyone. We know you have many questions, and we are here to answer all of them. The office will reopen on May 18, 2020. Learn more about the changes we have made to ensure your health and safety as well as the answers to other questions in this COVID-19 update.
When Will We Reopen?
May 19. You may schedule your appointments starting from that date now.
What Happened to Old Appointments?
All appointments before May 19 have been canceled. We will contact you to help you reschedule them.
What Changes Have You Made to Improve Safety?
We are following the recommendations from the CDC, OSHA, and ADA to make our office the safest place possible. During the time we were closed, we also invested in additional equipment and training along with other improvements, including improved sterilization and ventilation to minimize the risk of infection and create an even safer environment than we had in the past. Finally, all staff members will have enhanced personal protective equipment to improve the safety of care, including but not limited to the higher level filtration masks, face shields, and gowns.
Do I Need To Do Anything?
We sent out a list of changes in an email. These two forms should be signed at your next visit:
- • Supplemental Informed Consent
- • Wellness Questionnaire
How Have Appointments Changed?
As always, we are here to provide you with the best dental care you need. But, for everybody’s safety, there are a few changes to our appointment procedure:
- When you arrive at our office, please stay in your car. When you arrive, please text or call us at (314)993-4114 and wait for instructions.
- Please do not bring siblings, friends, or relatives who do not have a scheduled appointment. Only scheduled patients will be allowed in the treatment and common areas.
- Please wear your own masks coming in and out of the building. You’ll also need to wash your hands immediately after entering.
- We will then give you a quick temperature check and review the Supplemental Wellness Questionnaire. If your temperature is above 100.4 deg F, then we will re-appoint you.
- You’ll do a quick rinse with a special hydrogen peroxide rinse. This helps keep everybody safe as we must assume everybody is an asymptomatic carrier and protect the well being of all our patients.
I Still Have a Few More Questions:
Please don’t hesitate to reach out. If there’s anything you’re unsure about please contact us at 314-993-4114.
Our office is located in the City Place 5 Building, at 845 North New Ballas Court, Creve Coeur, MO. 63141
